For most people I’ve spoken to, extractions are the scariest part of having dental work done. I can confidently say this was the easiest, most comfortable and seamless experience I've ever had with something so intimidating. All of the staff are kind, considerate, patient with questions and truly above & beyond. I could never recommend a better place to go than Advanced Surgery of Tampa on Lithia. A perfect display of excellence from start to finish. The receptionist was phenomenal as she set the tone for my entire visit. The medical team that assisted the dentist were awesome. They were all personable, knowledgeable and so caring. Definitely made me comfortable prior to my procedure. My dentist was also amazing and skilled. He was very informative and answered all my questions which also helped to calm the fears. Collectively they are rockstars and I will definitely highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this place enough! As a 36 year old with severe dental anxiety, Dr. Edwards and staff made me feel so safe and valued. I had a dental emergency, with a cracked wisdom tooth. They saw me same day and went over all options with 0 pressure involved. Explained the process, what they recommend to save money long term, sedation options etc. The choice of service was entirely up to me and my comfort level. The prices were very affordable for the work I needed done. They worked with my insurance company to make sure what could be covered - was covered. They respected my boundaries with inspecting my teeth because of my anxiety - which I have to highlight because of how kind and rare that is in the industry when it comes to teeth and someone incredibly scared with trusting someone to care for them. The doctor? Immaculate. The dental assistants? Immaculate. The staff? Immaculate. The options? All mine. The pressure? Nonexistent. The judgement over neglected teeth? Not even a little bit. The vibes? Unbeatable. 10/10 service. Please consider making an appointment with them if you need major dental work done, you truly will not regret it.

No amount of words nor expressions can describe how blessed I am to find this place. If you’re struggling with dental insurance, finding an affordable oral surgeon, or even finding a good surgeon you can trust. Look no more! These guys are amazing! They made sure I was comfortable, heard and understood what was happening. Don’t even get me started on how good the actual services is too! For example, today I had to get not one but two wisdom teeth removed! I felt nothing and was out in less than an hour, I could not believe my eyes! Then to make it even better, it was super affordable! The original oral surgeon, I was referred to, was going to charge me $1200 while these guys was way less, $200! I don’t need to do the math to tell you what you are missing out on. Call now!

We had a great consultation for my daughter at Advanced Oral Surgery. Kiara at the front desk was friendly and helpful with check-in, and Bri, the dental assistant, was very kind and patient, making my daughter feel comfortable. Dr. Thomas Backeris took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all our questions. The office was clean, organized, and professional. Highly recommend!
